Flambéed Bananas with rum

Flambéed Bananas with rum

Serves 4

Cook time: 6-8 minutes

 

Ingredients

  • 4 bananas
  • 4 tbsp vanilla sugar
  • 5 cl white rum

 

Instructions

  1. Preheat the griddle to high heat. Peel the bananas and coat in vanilla sugar.
  2. Grill the bananas for 2-3 minutes per side.
  3. Heat the rum in a small saucepan and pour over the bananas. Carefully flambé.
  4. Cover with a lid to extinguish the flames. Cook for 1-2 minutes more, turning once. Serve immediately.

 

Tip

Serve with melted chocolate and sliced almonds.
